The MBRP ARMOR Lite filter-back is for owners who want their 2007.5-2012 6.7 Cummins to sound and look like a diesel again while keeping the emissions system intact. Everything after the DPF is replaced with bigger mandrel-bent aluminized steel pipe.

Out come the factory muffler and restrictive pipe, so you hear more turbo and engine without a raspy, droney cabin. In dry country like ours in West Texas, budget-friendly aluminized steel holds up well. In states with salted winter roads, it will not hold up like stainless. It bolts right in on the factory hangers.

A bolt-on job with basic hand tools. Allow about an hour on jack stands or a lift. Your DPF, SCR and catalyst stay on the truck and the emissions system keeps working, since this is a filter-back system. Not legal for sale or use in California, or on pollution-controlled vehicles where prohibited. On the 2007.5-2012 Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins 5in, check hanger alignment before final tightening.
