If you want your 2017-and-newer Super Duty gas to sound like a truck again, minus the highway drone, start here. Behind the converters, the MBRP ARMOR Lite cat-back trades the restrictive factory pipe and muffler for mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing and an MBRP muffler.

It brings a deeper, meaner tone on throttle, a touch more throttle response, and a tidier look out back. In dry country like ours in West Texas, budget-friendly aluminized steel holds up well. Keep in mind it will not last like stainless in salty winter states. Because it bolts to the factory hangers, there is no cutting or welding.
