Description
VoltStep electric running boards drop down the moment you open a door on your 2011-2022 Ram 2500/3500 Crew Cab and tuck back up out of sight when you close it. It gives an easy step in and out with no fixed board to snag rocks or cover the truck's lines.
Each 6 in. aluminum board has a non-slip surface and built-in LED lights that come on when it deploys, which is handy at night. Cold and heat are handled by dual motors; safe-stop stops the board at obstacles; an inside switch holds them in or out. Because the door sensors are magnetic, the OBD port stays free for a tuner or scanner.

What's included
You get two powered boards with motors and linkages, plus mounting brackets, the wiring harness, door sensors, an override switch and hardware.
Install notes
No drilling on most trucks: it bolts to the factory mounting points. Wiring runs to truck power through the included harness and door sensors. It takes 3 to 4 hours, and a professional install is wise if wiring makes you uneasy. On the Ram 2500/3500 Crew Cab, test the boards with every door before the first drive.
