Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Helper Spring Kit - 2015-2025 Ford F-150 2WD/4WD (not Raptor)

Built for the 2015-2025 Ford F-150 2WD/4WD (not Raptor), this Firestone Ride-Rite kit adds two air helper springs between the frame rails and the rear axle, so the stock rear springs get help only when you ask for it. Add pressure before hitching up or loading the bed and the Ford F-150 sits level, so the front tires keep their grip, the headlights stay pointed at the road and braking feels normal again. Running empty? Drop the pressure and the Ford F-150 rides close to stock. Light-duty trucks like the Ford F-150 squat early under tongue weight, which is exactly what this addresses.

The springs fill independently, one valve per side, so a lopsided load like a transfer tank or a side-heavy tool box can be leveled out with a few extra PSI where it is needed. Firestone rates the kit for as much as 5,000 lbs of leveling support. It does not raise your GVWR, so never load past it.

2021 and newer F-150s with the factory onboard scale option use the inboard-mount kit 2627 instead.

Install notes

Expect basic hand tools plus a drill for the bracket holes. Typical install time runs 2-3 hours. After install, check all fittings for leaks, make sure the lines stay away from exhaust heat and suspension travel, and keep 5 PSI minimum in the springs.
