Firestone Ride-Rite Front Air Helper Spring Kit - 2007-2017 Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis 2WD/4WD

Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs mount between the frame and front axle of your 2007-2017 Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis 2WD/4WD and give the factory leaf springs adjustable help. Pump them up before the trailer goes on the ball or the bed fills up, and the Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis stays flat instead of nose-up, with steady steering, normal braking and headlights aimed where they belong. Once the load comes off, let air out and you are back to a near-factory ride. Upfitted Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis trucks with service bodies or dump beds get steady support from this kit.

Because each spring has its own fill valve, you can correct body lean from off-center cargo, such as a camper or a tank mounted to one side of the bed. Rated load leveling for this kit is up to 5,000 lbs per pair, and the truck's GVWR still applies. This is a front-axle kit.

What's included

The box holds both air springs, the upper and lower brackets, hardware, air line and fill valves.

Install notes

Mostly a hand-tool bolt-on, though the brackets need a few holes drilled. Most installs wrap up in 2-3 hours. After install, check all fittings for leaks, make sure the lines stay away from exhaust heat and suspension travel, and keep 5 PSI minimum in the springs.
