This RED Label kit is the heavy-hauler option for the 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD 2WD/4WD: two Firestone air springs go in between the frame and rear axle to back up the factory rear springs. Put air in ahead of a towing or hauling job and the rear end holds its height, which keeps weight on the front axle for steering and braking and keeps your lights out of oncoming drivers' eyes. Running empty? Drop the pressure and the Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD rides close to stock. For a Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD that pulls a gooseneck or carries a camper, that extra support shows up on every trip.

RED Label is Firestone's commercial-grade series, with thicker rubber and coated brackets made for hot shot work, service bodies, slide-in campers and heavy fifth-wheel or gooseneck towing. The springs take up to 150 PSI and level up to 7,500 lbs; GVWR still governs how much you can carry.

What's included

The box holds both air springs, the upper and lower brackets, hardware, air line and fill valves.

Install notes

The brackets bolt to existing factory holes, so nothing gets drilled. Typical time in the driveway is 1-2 hours with hand tools. Route air lines well away from heat and moving parts, spray-check the fittings for leaks, and hold at least 5 PSI in the springs.
