Description
On this page: the Solid Fold ALX Hard Folding Tonneau Cover - 2009-2018 Ram 1500 5ft 7in Bed. The Extang Solid Fold ALX is the hard cover we recommend when you want real security on a 2009-2018 Ram 1500 and 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic but still need to fold it up for a tall load. With hard panels, a knife will not get a thief in, and folding in thirds gives real access instead of a lid that barely lifts.
Every panel is an inch thick with a skin that handles hail, dings and Texas sun, and the cover is rated for 600 lbs. evenly spread. Snap-on rubber seals at the edges and hinges keep the bed dry. Skip the tailgate clamps: one rear knob does the job. Fully assembled from the box, which keeps the install short.
Features
- Inch-thick hard panels resist hail, dents and sun

- Textured matte black over an aluminum frame
- Perimeter and hinge seals snap on
- 5-year Extang warranty
- Arrives assembled; clamps on without drilling
- Tailgate-end knob release instead of clamps
