It is a gas-charged 46mm monotube with valving set for steering use, so it damps sharp kicks without making the steering heavy.

Bolts in place of the factory stabilizer in about 30 minutes. A stabilizer helps, but it does not fix worn steering parts or a bad track bar, so check those if the death wobble is severe.
