Description
This is the Banks Power Boost Tube Upgrade Kit (Red Powder-Coated) built for the 2007-2009 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins. Banks Power part number: 25990.
The factory charge-air pipes on most diesels are smaller than they should be, and some are even crimped at the factory. Banks says the 2013-2018 Ram hot-side tube is dented down to 2-1/4 in. The Banks Boost Tube Upgrade replaces the hot and cold side tubes with constant-diameter, mandrel-bent tubes that have larger-radius bends and a red powder-coat finish.
Less pressure loss between the turbo and the intake means the turbo makes the same boost with less work. That gives you quicker spool, lower EGTs and longer turbo life. Banks rates up to 103% more flow area on the 2013-2018 Ram, up to 105% on the LML Duramax, and 680 CFM vs 364 CFM stock on the 2017-2019 L5P (with a temperature-probe bung). 409 stainless tubes with billet quick-connect adapters.
