The BAKFlip G2 is the hard folding cover that started it all, and it is still one of the best values out there. For the 2009-2018 Ram 1500/Classic 5ft 7in Bed w/ RamBox, it is a lockable aluminum lid that folds to the cab for full bed use.
Solid-core panels in an aluminum skin carry a 300 lb. evenly spread BAK rating. Latches self-catch on closing, rubber seals line the edges and drain tubes move water out. Its black powder coat stands up to sun, and it can be driven closed, partly open or folded against the cab.

Install notes
It clamps to the bed rails with hand tools; no drilling. Most installs wrap up in under an hour. Connect the drain tubes to the bed drains and re-snug the clamps after the first week.
