Description
For heavy weather, AMP Research offers the PowerStep Xtreme power running board. If your 2018-2021 Ram sees snow, ice and mud, this is the one we point people to.
With two motors on each side rather than one, the boards force through packed snow and grime that can stop a single-motor step. Automatic deploy with the doors, tuck-away when they close, and built-in LEDs are all still there. Its harness plugs into factory wiring.

What's included
Power running boards for both sides, motor assemblies, vehicle-specific brackets, wiring harness and hardware. It ships as AMP Research part 78239-01A.
Install notes
Using the vehicle-specific brackets supplied, the boards mount beneath the rocker panels; AMP notes drilling is required. Plan on 3 to 5 hours with basic hand tools and a drill. If wiring is not your thing, consider a professional install. The wiring plugs into your truck's factory harness, so there is no cutting or splicing of wires. On the Ram 1500 Classic & 2500/3500, read the AMP instructions before you begin.
