Description
PowerStep Smart Series is AMP Research's power running board with phone control. It drops a step on your 2015-2020 Ford F-150 whenever a door opens and stows it when the door shuts, and the app lets you push the boards out or lock them up on demand.
On-demand control helps when loading the roof rack, washing the truck, or running a rough trail with the steps tucked away. You also control the under-board LED lights from the app, which replaces the old manual override switch.

Install notes
Mounts under the rocker panels using the vehicle-specific brackets in the kit; AMP lists this kit as drilling required. It takes about 3 to 5 hours with a drill and basic hand tools. Consider having a pro install it if you would rather not handle wiring. The harness plugs into the truck's factory wiring without any cutting or splicing.
