Description
This is the AMP Research PowerStep Running Boards built for the 2018-2019 Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cab XL Black. AMP Research part number: 77248-01A.
Lifted or not, a heavy-duty truck sits up high. The AMP Research PowerStep fixes that: open the door and the step swings down and out, close it and the step tucks back up under the rocker, out of the way of rocks and ruts.
It's the step we recommend most for folks who want easy entry without hanging a fixed board on the side of the truck.
Why we like it
- Deploys automatically when any door opens and retracts when it closes
- Aluminum construction with powder coat and stainless hinge pins
- 300 lb capacity per door
- Built-in LED lighting on the step
- 6 in. wide slip-resistant step surface
Fitment
- 2018-2019 Ram 2500/3500 Mega Cab XL Black
On 2019-2023 Ram diesels, the Smart Series version requires relocating the air tank.
Match the year, cab, bed length and drivetrain shown here to your truck before you order.
