Description
Most truck owners who want a power running board ask for the AMP Research PowerStep, the original. Doors open, steps come down on the 2022+ Toyota Tundra Gas; doors close, the boards tuck up under the rocker, safe from rocks, curbs or ruts.
This is the plug-and-play version, so the harness connects to the factory wiring instead of tapping into wires. When the steps come out, LEDs under the boards light the ground; the linkages are cast aluminum with a hard protective coating.

Install notes
Mounts under the rocker panels using the vehicle-specific brackets in the kit; AMP lists this kit as drilling required. Plan on 3 to 5 hours with basic hand tools and a drill. A professional install is a good idea if you are not comfortable with wiring. The harness plugs into the truck's factory wiring without any cutting or splicing.
