Description
This is the Air Lift Performance Rear Air Suspension Kit built for the BMW F30 3-Series / F32 4-Series / 2-Series (incl xDrive). Air Lift part number: 78655.
Air Lift Performance rear kits replace the factory rear springs and shocks with progressive-rate air springs and high-quality monotube dampers. You get a lower stance and adjustable ride height, and you keep usable wheel travel.
Most kits use dampers with 30 levels of adjustment, and Air Lift dyno-tests and matches the dampers in pairs before they ship. Air suspension is lighter than the OEM coil setup, which cuts unsprung weight. This kit covers the rear only. It does not include air management (compressor, tank or controller) or the front kit.
Why we like it
- Progressive-rate air springs allow a lower ride height than coils
- Monotube dampers for consistent damping on hard drives and rough roads
- Maximized wheel travel compared to coil-spring lowering
- Key components rig-tested to 1,000,000 cycles
What's in the box: Rear air springs and shocks (configuration varies by vehicle), braided stainless steel leader hoses, 1/4 in. PTC fittings, mounting hardware and a detailed instruction manual. The 2005-2014 Mustang kit does not include 3/8 in. fittings.
