Description
This is the Air Lift Performance Front Air Suspension Kit built for the BMW F30 3-Series / F32 4-Series / 2-Series (incl xDrive). Air Lift part number: 78568.
Air Lift Performance front kits swap the factory front struts or shocks for progressive-rate, double-bellows air springs over threaded-body monotube dampers. You get a real drop and adjustable ride height, and the car still handles.
The dampers have 30 clicks of adjustment, from soft to race-car stiff. Adjustable lower perches let you set ride height separately from air pressure. Air suspension is lighter than the OEM coil setup, so there's less unsprung weight. This kit is the front corner hardware only. It does not include air management (compressor, tank or controller) or the rear kit.
Why we like it
- 30-level damping adjustment
- Monotube dampers shed heat faster than twin-tube for consistent damping
- Ride height adjustable independent of air pressure
- Key components rig-tested to 1,000,000 cycles
What's in the box: A pair of front air-over struts or shocks (varies by vehicle), braided stainless steel leader hoses, 1/4 in. PTC fittings, mounting hardware and a detailed instruction manual. The 2005-2014 Mustang kit does not include 3/8 in. fittings.
