FASS Hydroglass Extreme Water Separator XWS3002

This is the main water separator on the FASS Titanium Signature Series. FASS rates the XWS3002 at 2 microns absolute. It doesn't have a drain because the filter element itself traps the water. Choose standard length (XWS3002) or extended length (XWS3002XL) to match what's on your system now.

Two rules from FASS. First, the XWS3002 has to be run with the PF3001 particulate filter and can't be combined with the older FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020 filters. Second, the water separator mounts on the pressure side of the pump. Check the location diagram on the filter before you spin it on. FASS lists it for Drop-In Series, Titanium Series and Titanium Signature Series systems.

Why we like it

• 2 micron absolute rating (per FASS)
• The element traps water, so there's no drain to leak (per FASS)
• Standard and extended lengths
• Pairs with the PF3001/PF3001XL
