BD Diesel Electronic Exhaust Brake - 2013-2024 Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins

Hauling a gooseneck down off the Caprock or through Hill Country grades is where an exhaust brake earns its keep. BD's electronic exhaust brake mounts in-line in the exhaust and builds controlled backpressure so the engine helps hold the load back, saving your service brakes for when you really need them.

This version is electrically actuated, so there's no air compressor or air lines to mount, and it works with the factory exhaust brake button on the dash. Pick the 4in or 5in outlet to match your exhaust.

Install notes

Installs in-line in the exhaust behind the turbo and plugs into the truck's factory exhaust brake controls. You'll need basic hand tools and a way to cut the exhaust. Follow BD's instructions (PDF in the specs) for valve orientation.
