Description
Hot intake air is what makes a towing diesel pull timing and lose power halfway up a grade. The Banks Techni-Cooler is a complete intercooler upgrade with a thicker core, cast or all-aluminum end tanks and wide-open inlets and outlets. Most kits also include mandrel-bent, red powder-coated boost tubes. The result: cooler, denser air with less boost loss and steadier power under load.
Banks' numbers: on the 2013-2018 Ram 6.7L, 48% better flow and a calculated +27 hp / +51 lb-ft. On the 2011-2016 LML, +95% core volume and 69% more inlet area. On the 2010-2012 Ram 6.7L, a 3.25 in. core that is over twice as thick as stock, 4 in. elliptical inlets and outlets, and 1,000+ hp capability.

Fitment: Ford 7.3L (1994-1997, 1999.5-2003), Ford 6.0L (2003-2007), Dodge Ram 5.9L (2003-2007), Ram 6.7L (2010-2018) and Chevy/GMC Duramax (2006-2016). Choose your truck in the Fitment menu. Banks notes 1999 7.3L trucks must have a build date of 1/1/1999 or later.
What's in the box: Techni-Cooler intercooler core with end tanks, boost tubes on kits that list them (all but the 2006-2010 GM), couplers, clamps and all hardware. The Ford 6.0L kits include a High-Ram elbow, and the 2003-2007 Dodge kits include a Monster-Ram elbow.
Emissions: 50-state legal. Banks/Turn14 list CARB EO D-161-82 (Ford 7.3L, Dodge 5.9L), D-161-90 (Ford 6.0L, 2006-2010 GM), D-161-114 (LML) and D-161-153 (Ram 6.7L).
