Banks Power Monster Exhaust 5 in. DPF-Back System - Diesel Trucks

The Banks Monster Exhaust is a DPF-back upgrade for late-model diesel trucks. It uses constant-diameter 5 in. mandrel-bent tubing in 409 stainless or aluminized steel, depending on the application, and ends in Banks' patented SideKick tip, which is designed to create negative backpressure at the outlet.

Banks' numbers: on the 2017-2019 L5P Duramax, 85% less backpressure and 15% lower exhaust exit temps than stock. The stock nozzle is 2.85 in., so the 5 in. outlet makes a big difference to trailers parked behind you. On the Ford 6.7L, 82% less backpressure. On the 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L, up to 9% lower backpressure at the turbine inlet for sharper throttle response and better fuel economy. It installs behind the DPF and keeps all factory aftertreatment in place.

Fitment: 2017-2019 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 6.6L L5P, 2017-2026 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450 6.7L and 2019-2024 Ram 2500/3500 6.7L crew cab. Ford Tremor needs the spare tire adjusted for clearance. On GM trucks with airbags, Banks says you may need a larger heat-shield clamp.

What's in the box: DPF-back exhaust tubing, Banks SideKick tip, heat shield, clamps and hangers as needed.

Emissions: DPF-back only, and all factory emissions equipment stays installed. Turn14 flags this item as needing a California (CARB) acknowledgement and lists no CARB EO number for it. Check your state's rules before buying for street use.
