Banks Power Derringer Diesel Tuner w/ iDash

The Banks Derringer is the tuner we recommend when you want real towing power but don't want to reflash the ECM. It plugs in through the OBD-II port and works with the truck's own computer, adjusting the tune in real time using throttle position, rpm, speed, air/fuel ratio, knock, coolant temp and EGT. ActiveSafety protects the engine, TransCommand protects the transmission, and removing it leaves no trace for the dealer.

You get 6 power levels that you can change on the fly from the included iDash. Banks rates up to +61 hp / +112 lb-ft on the 2017-2019 L5P, +72 hp / +148 lb-ft on the Ford 6.7L and +57 hp / +73 lb-ft on the 2020-2021 EcoDiesel. The new Derringer High Output for the 2024-2025 L5P adds +86 hp / +178 lb-ft and comes with Banks' iDash Pro and its Bluetooth app.

Fitment: 2014-2018 Ram 1500 / Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L EcoDiesel, 2020-2021 Ram 1500 / Wrangler JL / Gladiator 3.0L EcoDiesel, 2017-2019 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 L5P, 2024-2025 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 L5P and 2017-2019 Ford F-250/F-350 6.7L. Choose your truck in the Fitment menu.

What's in the box: Derringer tuner module, harness, and the iDash version listed in your option (1.8 SuperGauge, 1.8 DataMonster or iDash Pro). The iDash mount is sold separately on the 1.8 kits.

Emissions: 50-state legal. Banks/Turn14 list CARB EO D-161-169 (EcoDiesel), D-161-149 (2017-2019 L5P), D-161-178 (2024-2025 L5P High Output) and D-161-127 (Ford 6.7L).
