AMP Research PowerStep Smart Series Power Running Boards - 2019-2022 Silverado/Sierra 1500 & 2500 Double/Crew Cab

The PowerStep Smart Series is the AMP Research power running board you control from your phone. It drops a step on your 2019-2022 Silverado or Sierra whenever a door opens and stows it when the door shuts, and the app lets you push the boards out or lock them up on demand.

That control comes in handy for loading the roof rack, washing the truck, or keeping the steps tucked on a rough trail. The app also runs the under-board LED lights and replaces the old manual override switch.

Install notes

AMP lists this kit as drilling required; it mounts under the rocker panels with the included vehicle-specific brackets. Budget 3 to 5 hours; you need basic hand tools and a drill. Not comfortable with wiring? A professional install makes sense. The wiring plugs into your truck's factory harness, so there is no cutting or splicing of wires.

Power steps and bed steps are built for specific years, cabs and engines. We will confirm the right kit for your truck before you order; call the shop at (806) 503-2161.
