Air up before you hook a trailer to the hitch or load the bed and the truck stays level instead of squatting, which keeps your headlights on the road, puts weight back on the steer axle and lets the brakes work the way they were designed. Let the pressure back down when you are running empty and the truck rides close to stock.

Each side gets its own inflation valve, so you can run a few extra pounds on one side to level an off-center load like a slide-in camper, transfer tank or tool box.
