Banks Power part numbers: 42805-N, 42805-R.

Choose your color below; every option on this listing fits the same truck.

If you run a 6.7L Cummins, you've heard about the factory grid heater bolts that can break loose and go into the engine. The Banks Monster-Ram Gen-2 solves that by replacing the factory heater with a Banks high-flow intake plate. The heater can't fail if it isn't there.

The Monster-Ram also opens up the airflow path into the head for better throttle response and fuel economy, and it is dual-heat capable. Banks calls it the only 50-state emissions-compliant intake elbow for the Ram. It comes in natural cast, black or red powder-coat, for pickups and for 3500-5500 chassis-cab trucks. Banks notes it also fits dual-alternator engines.

Why we like it

Deletes the failure-prone factory grid heater

Opens up airflow for better throttle response

Dual-heat capable

CARB EO compliant (D-161-170 pickup, D-161-175 chassis cab)

Natural, black or red finish

What's in the box: Monster-Ram Gen-2 intake elbow, Banks intake plate with the heater system, fuel line, gaskets and hardware.

Emissions: 50-state legal.
