Moroso Dry Sump Oil Pans are designed with Billet Aluminum front and rear end seals. This allows the use of an oil pan gasket. In some cases, gaskets may not be available, so a moderate bead of high temp RTV can be used all the way around to seal the oil pan. Siliconing the oil pan should only be used in crankcase vacuum applications, or if no gasket is available for your application.
