If you're running an external wastegate, such as the popular Turbo Smart HyperGate, this regulator kit will further allow you to fine tune your drive pressure for optimum performance. In most situations, if both ports are left open on the wastegate, it will open at 63 psi of drive pressure. By installing this regulator, you can regulate your pressure above this for maximum control.
